Dolores, Colo., 1936 - 1942
Sub-Series — Box: OSBCHI-C-100-1, Folder: 24
Scope and Contents
The Benedictine Sisters of Chicago ran two vacation schools in Dolores, Colorado. The first was taught by Sr. Maurus Becker, OSB, and Sr. Anthony Hrusovsky, OSB, who had to drive 40 miles to the town; the second by Sr. Perpetua Guenther, OSB, but the year of this session is unknown. It may have been in 1936, as one photograph suggests. Two more images are included: one of Sr. Anthony Hrusovsky, OSB, a priest, and their pupils, along with a more recent picture of Our Lady of Victory Church.
