This sub-series is relatively slim considering the Benedictine Sisters of Chicago spent over half the 20th century teaching vacation schools in Salida, Colorado. Beyond a list of Sisters who ran the town's summer schools of religion, the only material included is a page from "Our Community" that briefly mentions Salida and a map highlighting the town's location.
Snapshot Album III, circa 1910-1983
A note included with the album states: The snapshots on the next three pages were taken at SS. Benedict and Scholastica on Orleans Street. A careful scrutiny of the pictures will show the entire yard or "garden enclose" as well as the tracks of the elevated train. There are photographs of community life, visits, work, and events like graduations and jubilees in Illinois and Colorado.
