Scope and Contents
The nine scrapbook albums in this series document the archival research trip of June 12th - July 3rd that Sister Vivian Ivantic, OSB made to Colorado, mainly in search of material related to the Summer Schools of Religion that Sisters held in small and larger towns in Colorado. The scrapbooks also hold material related to parishes where the Sisters lived and worked year round.

Biographical / Historical
Album 4 holds materials gathered and created as archivist Sister Vivian Ivantic, OSB, photographer Sister Eleanore Hillenbrand, OSB, and driver Sister Jeanne Hegarty, OSB continued their stay in Salida, at the community's convent of St. Joseph Church. From there, they went to do research in Crested Butte and visit the family of the late Sister Ann Spehar, OSB. They also visited parishes in Paonia and Hotchkiss and made time to enjoy the sights of the Black Canyon area.

Appraisal
Sister Virginia Jung, OSB transferred an almost complete SET #85 of color photographs with their metadata to the Photographs collection. They were in an envelope sitting loose in the binder; copies of most of the images are included in sleeves in the Album 4 binder.
