Scope and Contents Sister Vivian Ivantic, OSB created this scrapbook to document the archival research trip that she and Sister Eleanor Hillenbrand, OSB made to Colorado in the Spring of 1991. The bulk of this collection from the Archives department consistes of Sister Vivian Ivantic, OSB correspondence and summaries or timelines of community history. There are also Sister Vivian Ivantic OSB notes on the early days of community, catalogs of the collections, seals, and the works of other researchers on the history of the community. The Archives Newslette is the largest series.

Scope and Contents Sister Vivian Ivantic, OSB compiled a list of Sisters who taught weekday, Sunday, and summer classes at St. Anthony Church. She included pages on the parish history taken from the 60th anniversary book of St. Michael Church, Cañon City, Colorado. This series details the Benedictine Sisters of Chicago's brief presence in Chandler, Colorado. Four Sisters ran a vaction school in the small coal town during the summer of 1940, which served children in Chandler, along with Williamsburg, Colorado, and Coal Creek, Colorado. Also included is an Archives Newsletter written following a 1991 archive trip Sr. Vivian Ivantic, OSB, and Sr. Eleanore Hillenbrand, OSB, took to Colorado.

Scope and Contents This sub-series contains a sheet of oral history stories from the Benedictine Sisters of Chicago's time in Crested Butte, Colorado. Originally St. Patrick Church, Sisters would later run vacation schools out of Queen of All Saints. The latter's architecture was beautiful enough to warrent a story in the Southern Colorado Register, which is also included. Also included are some pictures taken during a 1989 archive trip Sr. Vivian Ivantic, OSB, and Sr. Eleanore Hillenbrand, OSB, took to Colorado. The list of Sisters who taught at the summer schools of religion in Eagle may be incomplete, as the second page of the list is missing.

Despite the Benedictine Sisters of Chicago's 40-year presence in Florence, Colorado, this sub-series is relatively slim. Beyond a two-page list of Sisters who taught vacation schools in the town, the only other material included are two images of a statue of St. Benedict taken outside St. Benedict Church during a 1991 archive trip to Colorado.
