Scope and Contents

Sister Vivian Ivantic, OSB compiled a list of Sisters who taught weekday, Sunday, and summer classes at St. Anthony Church. She included pages on the parish history taken from the 60th anniversary book of St. Michael Church, Cañon City, Colorado. There is a brief note from Sister Eleanore Hillenbrand, OSB regarding her experience, a data sheet prepared for the 1965 Visitation of St. Scholastica Monastery, part of an Our Community article by Sister Aloysia Ripperger, OSB referencing problems with the Ku Klux Klan, and a 1962 article on parish history from the Cañon City Daily Record. There are photographs of St. Anthony Church and the area from Sr. Vivian Ivantic's research trips in 1988 and 1991.
