Sister Gertrude Holtz, OSB papers
Sister Gertrude kept careful records of all the pupils she taught throughout her career. This record-keeping spirit extended to what she was taught in her early days in the community, her teaching materials, copious notes on yearly retreats held at the monastery, and correspondence from friends and family.
Sister Joan Hentges, OSB papers
This collection begins with Sister Joan Hentges' diploma from St. John the Baptist Parochial School in Beloit, Kansas. It contains materials related to her life in community and her education, articles, awards, and correspondence. It also includes bulletins, directories, and job descriptions that Sister Joan collected from her pastoral work at Christ the King Church in Pueblo, Colorado. There are photographs from the time she was in high school up until her last years of life.
